...for insulting religion.
Apparently this was funny enough to pique the interest of several news companies. Slow news week I guess. Showed them a few links and copy pasted pages. One reporter told me a statue of Mohammed had already been built earlier in the last century. It sat on the roof of a courthouse in New York overlooking the city. They even used the wrong hand to hold the Quran. The one Mohammed would have used to wipe his ass. LOL. So my own statue certainly won't be an original concept. Hell it won't even be close to being as offensive as the Yank one which towered over the city skyline.
I've picked a good spot for it. With the Plinth it should measure about 18 feet in total. The sword will be the hardest part to construct. Haven't done much art since high school but I've always been good with my hands. Something like this is pretty easy really. You just take it slow and careful making sure everything is to scale.
Be interesting to see if anything is published. I've been in the media loads of times. Doesn't take a whole lot of effort in Australia. I'll never forget how Lawrence Springborg called an emergency meeting after discovering I'd purchased the name of his new political party www.LiberalNationalParty.com or the time www.BindiIrwin.com caused an uproar. Of course the reporters on that one didn't know I had worked with the crocodile team at Australia Zoo and already contacted the Irwins about it. Handed the domain over at their manager's office. Unfortunately the silly man forgot to renew the registration one year and now its gone. I could go on with other 15 minute episodes of fame but I'm going off at a tangent.
I love my life.
Oh right I should give the link to the dopey forum that banned me in case anybody is interested. I've mentioned it here at the forums before. They aren't particularly big. I think they only have about 50 active members despite being around for many years (2009) and joining up with the Atheist Foundation of Australia.

Foul mouthed insulting bunch of blowhards with an undeserved superiority complex but funny to watch. Cheeky fuckers too. One had the hide to call me a domain squatter. I've owned www.AustralianAtheists.org since long before their crappy little unsuccessful forum was even created. Domain squatters or cybersquatters as they are sometimes referred to buy celebrity domains with the objective of making a profit. They are not even a semi-celebrity level website and there is certainly no money in atheist forums. On top of that I've never made a cent from the internet in my life and have no plans to.
