Available at Bunnings I have heaps of it at my place. Good for keeping out intruders and it doesn't wander too far as it is quite dry out my way. Found in and around Stanthorpe, Warwick, Killarney, Toowoomba the Blackall Range and all over Australia basically. Spread by birds and animals on fur and through faeces. Years ago I tried to get rid of it but the stuff is too pervasive in that area of my block and it doesn't really affect me. Can't spread too far as its a bit dry out this way. I've known for over 30 years that blackberry is a restricted invasive plant in Queensland but I've seen blackberry seeds for sale in Brisbane Bunnings stores. Go figure. Over in England we used to make blackberry pie with custard. At my place it mostly provides food for the birds, rabbits and foxes. Bunnings Warehouse Thornless Blackberry - 1 Pack $14.98 AUD*·Brand: Bloomin' BulbsIts hard enough just trying to keep on top of the prickly pear leftover from when cactoblastus was introduced. Still, makes a nice jam. I love it when ignorant city folk pretend they know anything about bush living. Always makes me laugh. If I had a dollar for every time some ill informed big mouthed twat said my blackberries are illegal I'd be even richer.
